What is tutoring?

Tutoring assists students to understand and meet the learning goals and objectives of the subject or course they are studying. We aim to achieve this through building the students applied understanding of the theories, concepts, and processes they are learning.

Who can we tutor?

We tutor students studying various disability, aged care, and mental health certificate and diploma level qualifications. These courses include, but are not limited to:

  • Certificate 2 in Community Services, and Introduction to Aged Care,
  • Certificate 3 in Individual Support, Disability, Aging Support, Mental Health, and Allied Health Assistant
  • Certificate 4 in Disability, Aging Support, and Mental Health
  • Diploma in Disability, Community Services, and Mental health

We also offer tutoring in select degree and post graduate subjects where we have relevant qualifications and experience.

Why engage us for tutoring?

We are experienced and qualified sector professionals with a wealth of current theoretical and applied knowledge and experience. We also have personal experience with engaging services and support via the NDIS and My Aged Care. This means our perspectives and insights are well-rounded and holistic.

We work with you based on your learning style, creating a positive and productive learning environment. We also aim to improve your focus, study skills, and time management (if required) so that you can work more effectively on your own.

So, whether you are studying new theories, concepts and processes, or you are are studying to formalise years of experience, there are many practical benefits to tutoring. None more so than understanding what you are learning in an applied context, so you are closer to being job ready.
